  • What insurance do you take?
    I am an in-network provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield and Aetna. Please talk to your insurance company about your particular coverage, including deductibles and co-pays. If you have a different insurance carrier, I am happy to provide you with a "superbill" that you may use to seek out-of-network reimbursement for my services. Please talk to your insurance company about your out-of-network coverage. You are not required to use your insurance for services.
  • What are your fees for services?
    5-10 minute Initial Phone Orientation: $0 55-60 minute Diagnostic Assessment: $230 55 minute Individual Therapy Session: $180 per session 30 minute Individual Therapy Session: $90 per session
  • Do you offer a "sliding scale" or any discounts for services?"
    Yes- I do currently offer an income-based sliding scale for services. This scale ranges from $90 to $180 per individual therapy session. We can discuss this sliding scale further during the initial phone orientation. Additionally, full-time Arizona State University students are eligible to pay a discounted fee of $90 per Individual Therapy session.
  • What happens after I schedule an Initial Phone Orientation?
    Soon after scheduling an initial phone orientation, you will receive a confirmation email. I will call you from (480) 744-1430 at the time of the scheduled appointment. If you do not receive your confirmation email within 24 hours of requesting the Phone Orientation, please call me directly at (480) 744-1430.
  • What is the best way to contact you?
    If you are not yet an established patient and are interested in services, please use the link provided in the "contact" section of this site to schedule an initial phone orientation. If you are an established client, the best way to contact me is by sending a secure message via the secure, confidential online patient portal. (Clients receive a link to register for the secure patient portal prior after scheduling a Diagnostic Assessment). If you are unable to access the online patient portal or or having trouble reaching me using this method, you can leave a voicemail via (480) 744-1430. Please note that I do not have in-person or phone after-hours availability. In the event of a mental health emergency, please contact 911, go to your nearest emergency room, and/or contact Empact Suicide Prevention Center at (480) 784-1500.
  • How do I cancel or reschedule an appointment?
    You can cancel your appointment using the secure, confidential patient portal. You will receive an email that contains a link to register for this portal after your schedule your Diagnostic Assessment.
  • What do I need to do to prepare for my Diagnostic Assessment?
    You will be asked to complete intake paper work prior to your Diagnostic Assessment. You will be emailed a link to the secure patient portal to complete this paperwork.
