About Me:

I’m Dr. Natalie Fabert, a licensed psychologist with a part-time private practice located in the Old Town district of Scottsdale. In addition to my clinical work, I’m a full-time Associate Teaching Professor at Arizona State University (ASU), where I teach courses in social psychology, clinical psychology, educational psychology, group dynamics (including cults), addiction treatment, and psychopathology. I also serve as a professional advisor and member of the Board of Directors for the Lalich Center on Cults and Coercion, a certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

In my private practice,  I provide confidential individual therapy services for adults 18 years of age and older who are experiencing general mental health concerns.  These concerns are often related to depression, anxiety, stress, health issues, relational issues, grief, professional or personal life transitions, trauma, and/or abuse.  I integrate a variety of evidence-based techniques in my practice, and create treatment plans around the individual needs and goals of my clients. Examples of these techniques include Common Factors Therapy, grief therapy techniques, EMDR, narrative therapy, and third-wave cognitive-behavioral approaches. My ultimate goal is to help clients grow closer to reaching a harmonious and authentic state within themselves and with those around them.
